Maybe...

Jerusalem = duty

Athens = individuation

Silicon Valley = hedonism

...?

I'm trying to think of a ten year vision, but it's difficult to sign off on one - duty, individuation and hedonism all serve up separate visions!

Reminds me of Freud’s Id (hedonism), Ego (individuation), Super Ego (duty). Jung’s individuation refers to developing the non-preferred side of any or all on the scales of (introversion/extroversion, intuition/sensing, thinking/feeling, judging/perceiving). The four scales of two body preferences make up one personality. Seems like a dynamic system of a person when outside forces are upon it. I am considering the three body problem in relation to these theories. It’s fun.
