The word “art” is used so freely nowadays that it almost seems a cliché. Somebody said recently that content was art. I laughed until the internal screams tired. Language is taken for granted in too many circles and manipulated in others.
This is beautiful. The awe inspired by artists of all stamps in bygone eras, be it architecture, music, literature or theater, has so often moved me to tears of longing and hunger. The majesty, the supernatural detail and insights carved, written, created by human hands defies mortal explanations of any kind without some guiding Hand, Eye, Mind-- your use of the term “haunted” is perfect. That is what it IS. What it must be to create. No one creates anything solely out of their tiny, isolated selves. Your words richly channel that reality. Thank you!
