I second Jenn's praise here. I, too, have been thinking and writing a good deal on the subject of art and humanity. You have taken a totally different approach (no surprise there), but I do find some commonality from a basic attitudinal disposition.
The societal salvation from the personal one, I understand. When the artist saves themselves, for themselves, it is an act of rebellion on behalf of humanity as well.
These are hard topics to cover, because they are so wide and all encompassing-but you were able to do it quite nicely. Well done, Clintavo. I hope it gets lots of reads.
I am glad I found this piece and am now doing my best to become familiar with the Soaring Twenties, in general. Seems like a place I could really appreciate.
