Frank is in a league of his own. His writing is clear, crisp and complex all at the same time. He builds a movie on the reader’s retina.

I personally love these types of stories and the mood in this one is perfect. Great great stuff, Frank!

Felt like a scene out of "The Road" but the world is warmer and hopeful.. Enjoyed this a lot.

Wow! I loved this. Of all the ways AI could be our downfall... this one points to greed.

I prefer my books to be on paper and the thought often crosses my mind that the greatness if our creations would be unknown to the future if power to our “answer boxes” were unavailable.

Thank you for this glimpse into your imagination.

I agree with Kimia, I didn’t want it to end.

Great story. I glanced nervously at the answer box on my desk in the charger.

Wow, this is so well done Frank, it's inspiring and such a great premise for a short story.

Excellent read! Such a vivid and grim world. This would have made a kick-ass episode in Serling's Twilight Zone. More please 🙏🏽

Damn Kidd, this one's a winner.

Love this, Frank. So much conveyed in so few words, and nice payoff at the end. The theme of keeping information flowing made me recall the book The Plato Papers by Peter Ackroyd, which could be set 16 centuries after your story :)

I am not a fan of dystopian stories, but I have to say, Mr. Kidd, that this one, though bleak, had a softer, more hopeful vibe. Excellent piece. Thank you
